Organic coffee in Kenya is rare. But excellent organic coffee is practically unheard of. Established in 1976, the Muiri Estate received its organic certification in 2008 and has garnered the reputation of excellence in coffee production. This 400 acres estate is equipped with a wet mill and has access to a large dam, whose water is used to process its organic coffee at the highest standards. The estate is committed to sustainability and houses about 55 cows for dairy production and most importantly for their organic manure. We are excited to support the growth of organic farming in Kenya.
