ROAST PROFILE

How it tastes? A delightful and expressive coffee with exquisite balance and refreshing finish. Like her neighbor Kenya, this women-produced, Burundi is memorable.
Fresh fruit top notes of berry, peach and candied orange give way to sweet notes of marmalade and fudge.
A bright orange zest acidity dances atop a smooth, buttery chocolate base with sugary toffee flavors and a tamarind finish.
This coffee cools like a dream and makes a refreshing and spectacular cup of pour-over, cold brew or iced coffee.

Recommended Roast: Medium. This coffee is easy to roast. We suggest a gentle approach into first crack and lengthening the Maillard phase to allow more caramelization of sugars.
Medium roast develops a creamy chocolate mouthfeel. Tamarind and candied lemon top-notes pop as the coffee cools.
Darker roasts construct a bold chocolate base with notes of raisin and buttery toffee. Espresso shots gush syrupy chocolate with juicy fruit accent flavors.
The coffee beans are consistent, 15+ in screen size and have a high density that allows a solid, consistent roast.
