FARMER PARTNERSHIP

Farmed by the COOPAC women, this Rainforest Alliance certified coffee has been recognized in the Rwanda Cup of Excellence since 2008. The farmers group is made up of about 2,200 members who are committed to organic farming, along with developing their community. Since inception in 2001, this women’s group has constructed 50 wet mills, schools, healthcare clinics, and roads. Also, COOPAC distributes cows to members to diversify their income and finances women and youth development programs.
